Time: 7.30pm for 8.00pm This year the Branch Annual Dinner and Guest Night is to take place in Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Location maps will be sent out with tickets and are also available by clicking the map above. Parking is not available on campus but the Lion Yard car park or the Backs are close by. The Branch Chairman, Richard Morris, and the Committee hope that members will take the opportunity to entertain their partners, guests and friends at what has always been an enjoyable social event. This year, the event is made all the more special by it being a joint dinner with our friends and colleagues in the European Branch. The Rt. Hon. Sir Anthony Evans, Honorary President of the Institute, has been invited to be our Principal Guest for the evening. Trinity Hall was founded by Bishop Bateman of Norwich in 1350, making it the fifth oldest surviving College of Cambridge University. To this day, the College maintains a very strong tradition in the study of Law. The Dining Hall, reconstructed in 1745, evokes an atmosphere of elegant taste that easily complements the College's current reputation for good food. The cost of the Dinner this year will be £40.00 per head, inclusive of VAT, which includes a sparkling wine reception in the Fellows Garden at 7.30pm before an excellent 4-course meal with wines, coffee and port at 8.00pm. Please assist us by returning the form below to our Treasurer, John Riches, by 30 June 2001, together with your payment for the Dinner. This year we are pleased that the charge is once more a low £40 including VAT. |
