"Legal Update"
Speakers: Chris Hoar, Shadbolt & Co.
Chris Hoar is a Partner of Shadbolt & Co. the well-known firm of
solicitors specialising in construction-related matters. Chris has
wide-ranging experience in handling all sorts of building and engineering
disputes, both domestic and international. He has particular experience in
international arbitration and spent nearly two years working in Hong Kong on
arbitrations arising out of the construction of the new Hong Kong
International Airport. Chris also has a great deal of experience acting for
parties involved in adjudication and on the enforcement of adjudicators
decisions.
Chris holds the King's College London MSc. Degree in Construction Law and
Arbitration.
Recent Developments in Adjudication - continuing the update from the
point reached by his Partner Dominic Helps last year in Cambridge, Chris
Hoar will speak on current trends and the effect of recent judgments on the
process and operation of Adjudication in the UK.
