"Something Different - The Psychology of Disputes"
Speakers: David Richbell
Speaker: David Richbell has been practising as a non-lawyer
mediator since 1992 and is now one of the most experienced commercial
mediators in Europe. Although his professional background is in construction
and property, he is frequently appointed in many other sectors, and is very
experienced in multi-party and multi-issue mediations. David Richbell is a
member of the Chartered Institute’s Mediation Strategy Group, and has
advised and trained several UK government departments. He is responsible for
the development and delivery of the award winning CEDR mediator training
courses, is a founder member of MATA (Mediation and Training Alternatives)
specialising in advanced mediation training and, amongst many other
professional memberships and directorships, is a Director of the Sports
Dispute Resolution Panel.
Topic: The Psychology of Disputes – an insight into relationships
between parties in dispute and how these can be used to develop a resolution
to their differences.
